The full moon sets over a sandy bluff in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The foreground features pilings found at Good Harbor Beach. The sun rose directly opposite to the setting moon, providing great lighting that helped illuminate the ice on the pilings.

Technical details: Canon 7D, Canon 10-22mm lens (@22mm), 3-stop reverse graduated neutral density filter, 3-stop neutral density filter, ISO 100, F16, 0.6 of a second.
