A western Sandpiper on the coast of Lake superior during sunrise. On the beach of Wetmore Landing in Marquette, Michigan.
I decided to lay down onto the sand to get a more flattering perspective of this wonderful little bird. This also helped me cut the focal plane much more sharply to isolate the bird.
